1. Weigh the ingredients
In a bowl, weigh the flour and mix with the baking powder and salt. In a large mixing bowl, weigh out the marzipan. Using a small plate or bowl, weigh 100 grams of butter. Measure out 125 millilitres of milk and finally weigh, then chop the chocolate.
2. Mix the ingredients
Crack the egg into the bowl with the marzipan and stir. Add a dash of milk and mix into a smooth mass.
Add the flour, butter, and the remaining milk and mix for about 2 minutes to form a creamy mass. Finally, stir in the chopped chocolate.
3. Bake
Heat the waffle maker, lightly grease it using a brush and pour in the batter in portions. Bake the waffles until golden.
4. Serve
Remove the finished waffles from the waffle maker onto a wire rack and dust with icing sugar. They taste best warm.
