1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (395°F).
2. Peel the carrots and celery and cut them into equal pieces.
3. Spread the carrot pieces, celery pieces, and garlic in a baking dish or baking tray.
4. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with a pinch of cinnamon.
5. Bake in the oven until the vegetables are tender (20-30 minutes).
6. Let the vegetables cool briefly, and then purée everything into a homogeneous mass.
7. Stir in a tablespoon of yogurt.
8. Season the carrot spread with cumin, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
9. Mix again to ensure the seasoning is well distributed.
10. Cover the spread and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavours to develop.
11. Scoop the spread into a serving bowl, and garnish it with a drizzle of olive oil and some chilli flakes.
12. Serve the carrot spread with bread, vegetables, or your favourite crackers and chips.
