1. Prepare the coating
Measure the olive oil into a cup or small bowl. Use the garlic press to smash the cloves and add them to the olive oil. Mix and set aside to steep.
2. Make the dough
Place the flour in a bowl and mix with the baking powder and salt. Add the vegetable oil and water, and knead everything with the dough hook of the hand mixer into a smooth dough.
Divide the dough into four parts and roll it out as thinly as possible. Top two flatbreads with grated cheese, then place a second flatbread on top of each, press the edges together, and roll out thinly again.
3. Cook
Cook the garlic bread one after the other in a frying pan without fat on both sides. Immediately brush with the garlic oil and serve while still warm.
