1. Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a casserole dish.
2. Whisk the cream cheese filling
In a bowl, combine the cream cheese with a splash of milk and stir until the mixture reaches a smooth and spreadable consistency.
3. Fill the crêpes
Take a crêpe and spread the milk-infused cream cheese mixture generously and evenly over the surface. (Reserve 2 tablespoons of the cream for the topping.) Spread a layer of sweet apple sauce on top of the cream cheese and carefully roll up each crêpe. Arrange the rolled crêpes side by side in a lightly greased baking dish.
4. Topping
For even more indulgence, spread a thin layer of cream cheese on the rolled crêpes before baking. Sprinkle a generous handful of sliced almonds on top for a wonderfully crunchy and nutty flavour. Finally, combine the sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle this mixture over the crêpes.
5. Bake
Bake the assembled crêpes for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until they achieve a golden brown colour.
6. Serve
Once out of the oven, allow the Creamy Apple Sauce Crêpe Rolls to cool slightly before serving.
